Last Night’s Stir Fry

So I woke up today after having one too many glasses of wine and needed a cup of coffee badly, but first I had to have my cup of hot lemon water.  I like to drink hot lemon water very first thing in the morning using 1/2 of a lemon.  I never skip this.  Drinking hot lemon water first thing in the morning helps get rid of bloat and helps your liver and kidneys function better.  After I downed my lemon water I had my coffee! 

Heaven!

After coffee Keith and I had a flaxseed power drink.  I have been drinking this drink for almost 10 years.  I take 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseeds and put them in a small glass.  I then fill the glass with a mixture of pure cranberry juice and water and stir.  I try and drink this mixture at least once a day.  About 2 weeks ago I heard about chia seeds and now have been using  1tbsp of flax and 1tbsp of chia in my mixture instead of only using the flax. 

Start with ground flaxseeds

Next add chia seeds

Stir and Enjoy! I don’t think Keith enjoys these drinks as much as I do!

Ok, on to dinner from last night.  We stayed home and made stir fry.  It was amazing!  Stir fry is such a healthy meal and filled with a variety of vegetables.  We added organic chicken breast and topped the meal off with Sriracha Chili Sauce.  It was spicy!

We used broccoli, red onion, red and green bell peppers, mushrooms and celery.
