I didn’t sleep well last night at all because I wasn’t feeling well, so I decided to stay home and do my workout while the Husband went to the gym. I did 20 minutes of intervals on the elliptical and then weights for 40 minutes. Here are my stats:
- Time: 1:02:02
- Calories: 524 (35% fat)
- Max Heart Rate: 189bpm (98% max)
- Average Heart Rate: 156bpm (81% max)
Breakfast was hot lemon water, black coffee and a slice of low sodium Ezekiel bread with 2 eggs.
I must admit, Halloween being a Sunday, just didn’t feel right. We hardly had any kids come trick or treating, I think we only had 15 total over 3 hours! Despite the lack of kids and lack of the day feeling like Halloween, I still had my holiday spirit! So, I deck out our front entry way!
The Husband wants to make sure everyone knows this is my pumpkin.
I think we were the only house in our neighborhood to carve pumpkins and put them out too (we don’t have many young couples in our neighborhood)! In addition, I hid a small CD player under the lounge chairs and had spooky music playing (think witches laughs)! : )
Speaking of music, I put on our Christmas station on Pandora this morning, so as I type this, I am listening (and singing along) to Silver Bells! I know it’s early, but I was so tempted.
Morning Meditation
Motivation for the Day: Mexico (only 6 days and 5 workouts left to fit into my bikinis!)
Three Things I am Thankful For Today: 1- last Monday before vacation 2- Christmas Music! 3- Leaves are finally changing in our backyard!
Goal for the day: Stay focused on work and get all the trainers paystubs done and all their clients up to date on payments. I really will feel like a million bucks once this is done!
Motivational Quote of the Day: Opportunity is missed by most people because is comes dressed in overalls and looks like work. -Thomas Edison
This is one of my favorite quotes of all time, I really love it! It really motivates me to give my all to everyday and every opportunity that I have. I used to have this quote posted on a bulletin board in my apartment in college. Every time I looked at it, I felt empowered! : )
What quote makes you feel empowered? What is the one thing that really motivates you in life to be the best person you can be?
