I can’t believe this is the last week in the teens for baby Cameryn!
Like I mentioned, Cameryn had her four month check up and was a very healthy little girl! She weighed in at 12lbs 14ounces (17%), was 24 inches long (23%) and her head was in the 27th percentile. Other than checking out completely healthy, the doctor commented on how much muscle she had! She said most babies don’t have muscle and Cameryn had muscle already! Yay! She makes her mom and dad proud every day!
There really wasn’t much change this week, besides Cameryn getting bigger and bigger. She now is fitting pretty well into her six month clothing. I think some of it is actually starting to get a little snug! I don’t know how it’s possible, but it is!
Cameryn’s been very active in her jumper and is really starting to use her legs to jump.
She is also really starting to grab for things even when they are out of her reach.
She loves shoving everything into her mouth. A few times she’s shoved her hands so far in, they’ve made her gag! Poor little thing!
She isn’t eating nearly as long anymore and her feedings are a lot fewer. Sometimes she can eat in as little as ten minutes! It is nice not to be spending hours on end feeding her (not that I mind).
Cameryn hasn’t been sleeping very good, and I think it is because she is teething a bit. She has been waking up a lot at night and not wanting to go back to sleep. In fact last night, Keith took her to the family room at 2:30am, so I could get a bit of sleep (I’ve been having headaches constantly because I’m so sleep deprived. They go away when I’m rested).
Bath time has increased to every other night since she loves splashing around in there so much! It also helps her to fall asleep at night so I’m all for it!
Cameryn continues to work on sitting on her own. She sits but doesn’t fully hold her torso up, but we’re working on it!
