Motivation and a Snack

After a busy morning and afternoon, I thought I would just want to relax and watch the Monday Night Football game- Packers versus Bears tonight.  But that isn’t the case.  In the past hour, I have finished laundry, vacuumed the whole house, put clean sheets on the bed, planned dinner tonight and for the whole next week, wrote up a grocery list, cleaned the bathrooms, cleaned the kitchen including the stove and took out the garbage!  I don’t know where my motivation came from, but I love it! 

Keith made us an appetizer and I made us a nonalcoholic cranberry drink!  Here is what I made.

What you will need: 1 large pitcher, ice, 1 bottle sparkling water- I like to use San Pellegrino, pure cranberry juice- I like to use Knudsen brand and water

Fill the pitcher with about 2-3 cups of ice

Next pour 1 cup of cranberry juice into the pitcher

Put the entire bottle of sparkling water into the pitcher- you should use about 1 liter

Fill the pitcher up with water and stir

Enjoy!  I like to use wine glasses, I think it makes the drink more fun on a Monday night!

I don’t think we will be too hungry for dinner so we are sticking with eating leftover stir fry and also chicken and grilled onions from earlier today.
