Peanut Butter Toast

Good Morning Beauties!  I hope everyone is having a terrific Friday morning!  The Husband and I just got back from the gym.  I ran slow intervals (because of my hip) and lifted legs and shoulders.

Here are my stats from the workout:

  • Time:  1:01:28
  • Calories:  502 (35% fat)  Kind of low compared to most other workouts
  • Max Heart Rate:  191bpm (99% max)
  • Average Heart Rate:  153bpm (79% max)

As you an see I was a little slow in the gym today!  I actually just lifted and did not cardio bursts between my sets.  You can see by not adding those in I burned a lot less calories and had a lower average heart rate.  I highly recommend doing the bursts if you can!

I think I will be sore tomorrow for sure!

For breakfast I’m having peanut butter toast (yay!) and a cup of coffee.  Oh how I’ve missed my peanut butter toast after not having it fort 2 whole days!

3 Things I am Thankful for Today:  1- Friday 2- I had a great dreams last night 3- My Health

Goal for the Day:  Try and eat as many vegetables as I can today.  Have at least one meal be a salad (for some reason when we have company we tend to eat more then usual and drink more then usual.  Since Mexico is only 3 weeks away I want to eat as healthy as can while company is in town)!

Okay, I am out!  I have 25 minutes to get to work and start training my first client and am still in my dirty workout clothes!  Gotta run!  : )

I love running and hiking on dirt trails!  There’s nothing better in my mind!  I also love morning workouts.  If I don’t do them first thing I never get around to doing them!

Raven Cafe

But first snackage for today:

This afternoon my Mom got into town from Minnesota.  We decided to head over to one of the Husband and I’s favorite eateries.  The Raven Cafe.  Its an organic restaurant that serves the best sandwiches, salads and sweet potato fries.  We love this place and probably eat there at least once a week!  They have the best upstairs patio in town!  Plus the decor is awesome!






Keith and I decided to split a turkey melt and Ruben.  I would have taken a pic of the Ruben, but forgot!  Sorry, its so amazing!
