Pilates and Salmon

22 Oct

This evening we received a power cord for the elliptical the Husband’s parents brought to us a few weeks ago.  I was so excited and immediately put on my workout gear to try it out!  : )  I ended up doing a quick 15 minutes and then did a pilates video.  It was a perfect little evening pick me up!

The Husband cleaned it off before I gave it a go!

Once it was all clean I did a test run!

The Verdict:   I loved it!  I am going to try and do an extra 15 minutes of it each day leading up to Mexico!  Here are my workout stats:

  • Tine:  15:50
  • Calories:  147 (45% fat)
  • Max Heart Rate:  185bpm (96% max)
  • Average Heart Rate:  165bpm (85% max)

My PM snack was peach Chobani yogurt!  I also whipped up a pitcher of San Pellegrino and Cranberry juice!  So great!  : )

After the mini workout, it was time for dinner!  I took salmon out of the freezer this afternoon and made Lemon Pepper Salmon.  Its so easy and quick, it makes dinner easy to whip up.  We were planning on having salad with it, but when I got the salad out, I realized it had gone bad!  Whoops!  That hardly ever happens at our house!  We had spicy broccoli instead and it tasted so good!

Broccoli- I used about 1tbsp coconut oil, Sriracha, black pepper and crushed red pepper

Dinner is served!

That’s about it from here!  Have a great night!  It’s Friday tomorrow!  Yay!

Do you eat fish?  If so what type?  What’s your favorite way to eat broccoli?  Are you a fan of pilates?

I love salmon! It’s my favorite meal for sure. That’s so cool that you got a new piece of exercise equipment.
