Food for Nourishment

Here is a quick recap of the eats of the day.

Pre leaving for work, I had my lovely cocktail of flaxseeds, chia seeds and cranberry + water.  Yum- stir and chug quickly!  : )

Today at work, I had 2 apples one medium and one mini.  Also, I snacked on some almonds and had a whey protein shake right when I got home today.  For a PM snack, I munched on a toasted deli thin.  One half had homemade pumpkin butter and the other had spicy hummus.  It was a great combo, I loved the sweet and salty!

Dinner was very bland and boring, in fact I hated it.  But I ate it…nourishment for my body.  The salad wasn’t bad, I just wasn’t fond of the salmon (which I usually love).

Green salad with chopped walnuts, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, tomato, a sprinkle of gorgonzola and roasted garlic salad dressing.

The rest of the night looks like this:  Jersey Shore (yeah, yeah I know, I’m ashamed to admit this), mini workout- abs and elliptical and then shower time!  I can’t wait to crawl into bed and hopefully kick butt in the gym in the morning!

    I am such a night owl! I’m usually not in bed until about 1:00 AM every night! I really need to change this though. There’s just not enough time in the day!

    I’m sure you’ll kick butt at the gym!! 🙂

      I can’t remember the last time I stayed up until one! We lucky if we make it past 9pm on a week night!

    ooh. My sleep pattern is SO messed up. Sometimes I don’t sleep at all. Sometimes I sleep at 7 pm. Sometimes I sleep at 2am, or 4 am. My goal is to sleep consistently by 12 am!

      That is a really random sleep pattern! I love my sleep and need about 8-9 hours a night!
