Terrific Tuesday!

Yesterday was Meatless Monday, and I almost blew it!  I totally forgot it was Meatless Monday and remembered before dinner!  I had planned on eating a salad with chicken breast for dinner, but instead skipped the chicken and added more walnuts for calories and protein!  Here is a recap of my eats from yesterday:

  • AM Snack- Organic Gala Apple
  • Lunch-  Chocolate Protein Shake mixed with water
  • PM Snack-  Celery with Hummus plus a HUGE scoop of Peanut Butter
  • Dinner-  Salad with spring mix, walnuts- lots, red onion, blue cheese (I’m trying to stay away from dairy before Mexico, but I needed a little more on my salad since I skipped chicken and we were out of beans) with Annie’s Roasted Garlic salad dressing

This morning I actually woke up 10 minutes before the alarm went off- 4:40am and I was ready to go!  That never happens.  At the gym, I did cardio on the treadmill for an hour.  My HR monitor wasn’t working properly, so I ended up taking it off.  I ran about 5.5 miles in an hour.  My new shoes are working food, but don’t feel like they are totally broken in yet.  My feet always have a little discomfort when wearing them. 

Breakfast today is a repeat from yesterday-  hot lemon water, black coffee and toast with organic grain fed eggs-2.  If you want to look at pics, you can look at yesterday’s breakfast!  : )

Motivation for Today-  Vacation!!!


Where we stay, has the best breakfast ever.  The Husband gets a breakfast burrito and I get strawberry and banana crepes.  The perfect way to start the day!  : )


Three Things I am Thankful for Today-  1-  Seeing a cute deer on the way to the gym  2-  It’s really starting to feel like fall 3-  My right to vote today!  Yay!  : )

Goals for Today-  Start packing, train my lovely AM clients hard and get a bunch of random stuff done!

    Oh- to be on vacation in November sounds like the best thing ever! Plus yummy breakfast made by someone else! Ahh- I die. I hope your having fun!
