My past two days have been pretty uneventful, but here is a recap of Wednesday and today!
Wednesday Eats
- Breakfast- Peanut Butter Deli Thin (were still out of Ezekiel) with a 1/2 Cup of Black Coffee
- AM Snack- Strawberry Chobani and Walnuts
- Lunch- Whey Protein Shake
- PM Snack- Natural Burrito and a Chicken Sausage
- Dinner- I wasn’t hungry since I had a huge late PM snack.
Wednesday workout was 45 minutes on the treadmill running at 6.6 for most of the time.
Since I didn’t post the Wednesday Workout of the Week, here it is! Let me know if you try it out and like it! You should be pretty sore the following day! I love doing strength training in circuits, I burn so many more calories and get great gains!

Stationary Lunges with HEAVY weights

Back Extension

Straight Bar Pull Down

Walking Lunge

Calf Raises on Leg Press
Circuit #4

Straight Arm Plank

Leg Lifts

Bicycle Crunches (1 side at a time)

Superman 5 sets of holding 10 seconds

High Leg Crunches
Complete each circuit 2-3 times with 8-15 reps before moving onto the next circuit. Remember, talk with your doctor before starting any new exercise program! : )
Thursday Eats
- Breakfast- PB Deli Thin Toast with 1/2 Cup of Black Coffee
- AM Snack- Broiled Ezekiel Pita with Hummus
- Lunch- Whey Protein Shake and Walnuts
- PM Snack/Dinner- Turkey Burger with Whole Wheat Bun, Organic Cheese, Pickles, Ketchup, Mustard and Sweet Potato Fries on the Side

I took a rest day today, but plan on getting back into the gym first thing tomorrow morning before I start work at 8am!

Question: What is your favorite strength training exercise for your legs? Mine would be squats and deadlifts as a tie! I love them both!
I am a total squat lover!! However I also really love lunges. Ive been doing them for soccer sicne I was like 8 so they are pretty much drilled into my brain!
I like the result lunges give, but hate doing them!
How do you go about preparing sweet potato fries?

haha okay, that’s exactly what I get. I wasn’t sure if maybe you cut up a sweet potato yourself. It’s too much extra work though…Thanks for the insight 🙂
Ooo I hate squats! Hate ’em!
I don’t mind lunges though.
Qunicy is already getting so big!
He has gained about 3-4lbs in the week he’s been with us plus he is inches longer!
I have yet to taste sweet potato fries, but yours (along with an outrageous overload side of ketchup that I can’t go without) are on my list of foods to try!
You need to try them asap!
