I hope you are all off to a good start to this week! : )
Some of you may remember this post. I talked about how Keith and I went from being overly busy and constantly working towards new things to not having anything on the horizon. Well, out of now where I feel like we went from having nothing besides work to having a full schedule that is taking over our lives.
Last night we didn’t stop going from the moment we woke up until 8:00pm. I know some of you may think that isn’t so bad, but I’m talking about being so busy we didn’t even have a chance to workout and I skipped both my AM and PM snack not by choice, but because I didn’t even remember to eat I had so much going on! <—Not cool in my book. I am a personal trainer after all and HATE skipping workouts that I have planned and especially hate skipping my daily snacks.
This morning I decided to take charge of my schedule and really make use of every second of every day. That is the only way I will fit everything in that needs to get done. Plus the puppy has been begging for a LONG walk ASAP and I owe it to him!
Also, blogging has gone to the wayside. I love blogging as a creative outlet for myself but also for my clients, family and friends to see how I manage to have a balanced healthy life. I love providing new recipes, workout ideas and show what I eat on a daily basis so others can follow by my example. Well, I can’t lead by example when I’m not blogging, so I really need to find thirty minutes a day where I can continue what I love doing- blogging! : )
If you did read my post, I’m now thinking the Universe threw such a busy summer my way since I did sort of ask for it! I was craving having things to look forward to and know that I have it, I kind of wish I didn’t! Haha, isn’t that the way it goes. Like the saying goes- You better watch out what you wish for because you just might get it!
Okay, on to other fun things like my EATS:
- We went to the Raven Cafe over the weekend and split a Club Sandwich and Sweet Potato Fries! It was so good, I was enjoyed a glass of wine!
- We had Grilled Flank Steak and Asparagus on Sunday night
- Yesterday Morning I had PB Toast for Breakfast
- Last night we had an appetizer of a Sliced Apple and Split an Ezekiel Pita with Roasted Garlic Hummus as we were cooking. Then it was time for Turkey Burgers with Caramelized Mushrooms and Red Onions and Asparagus last night (I usually don’t like eating so many carbs in the evening but since I skipped both my AM and PM snacks yesterday I was STARVING!

Later that night, I found part of a rawhide in my wine….hmm…..
Well that’s it for now! I’m off to work, real estate class, home to feed the puppy, back to work, off to the grocery store, back home to clean, cook, do laundry, walk the puppy, read chapters for REC, squeeze in an at home workout and prepare for tomorrow! <—We have our first softball game tomorrow night!
