Fun Friday!

I am SO happy it is Friday!

I’ll keep this post short and sweet since Keith is in the kitchen making dinner and probably is wondering where I snuck off to.

Today’s workout was strength and it was short but sweet.  I was originally going to do 20 minutes on the stair climber to warm up, but after only 6 minutes I was ready for weights!  : )  I worked my core, lower back, pecs, triceps, legs and lateral delts.  Time flew by so fast, that before I knew, it was time to head home and get ready for work.

  • Breakfast-  Egg, Ham and Cheese on an English Muffin

  • AM Snack-  Apple and Kashi Bar
  • Lunch-  Annie’s Organic Mac and Cheese
  • PM Snack-  Chobani Yogurt
  • Dinner-  Locally raised Grass Feb Beef Burgers, mmmm!

I am totally on a Cheeseburger kick right now.  We paired it with a Rudy’s Whole Wheat Bun, Onion, Tomato and Romaine Lettuce and of course lots of Mustard and Ketchup!

Today was a busy one at work, but we treated ourselves to a late lunch at a local favorite.  I had Asparagus Soup and a Small Cheeseburger (like I said, I’m on a kick)!

Question:  How do you cook a whole artichoke?  I picked one up at the store and am planning on making it as an appetizer tomorrow.  All suggestions are welcome!
