Friday is Here!

I’m so happy it is Friday.  This week seemed both long and short, if that is even possible!

This morning was took one of our two weekly rest days from the gym.  Friday mornings are usually crazy busy so trying to fit in a workout as well usually isn’t in the mix.  I start training clients early on Friday mornings so I’m always in a time crunch, not to mention its garbage day.  We are normally scrambling to get it out before we leave for work because we always forget about it!

Yesterday after work I got my hair touched up with color a bit.  I’m planning on taking a trip to Minnesota next month and want my hair to be freshly colored before we go.  So yesterday I just had a few highlights redone and the rest can wait a few weeks!  I’m so pumped for Minnesota to see my family and friends.  We haven’t been there since our wedding.  I can’t believe I haven’t seen my Dad, Sister or Niece in that long.  Our trip is WAY overdue!

After I got my hair done, I came home and took a nap.  It felt amazing, but once again last night I had a hard time falling asleep.  I think I need to cut my naps down to 30 minutes or an hour, just not two hours! 

After my nap I woke up refreshed so I did a quick 15 minute prenatal yoga session and felt even more refreshed after that.  Feeling refreshed during pregnancy is a rare thing. 

Here are my Eats from yesterday:

  • Breakfast-  Bacon, Cheese and Egg Breakfast Sandwich on an English Muffin and a Grapefruit

  • Am Snack-  Kashi Trail Mix Bar and Nuts (raw almonds and walnuts)
  • Lunch-  Whey Protein Shake Mixed with Water
  • PM Snack-  Gala Apple and Green Machine Naked Juice
  • Dinner-  2 Bowls of Spaghetti and Meatballs  <—Loaded with parm of course
  • After Dinner Snack-  Gala Apple with Almond Butter, or I really should say Almond Butter with a Gala Apple!  : )

I usually never eat after dinner snacks but for some reason I wasn’t totally full from my 2 HUGE bowls of spaghetti at dinner.  So, I went for it.  Now that I’m pregnant I’m constantly fearing the baby isn’t getting enough nutrients so I feel like I am constantly eating and snacking all day long, which of course is A-Ok with me!  I ❤ food!

My number one concern is making sure this little guy/girl is getting all their much needed nutrients!  An Angel in my eyes!  We love how the baby is holding up his/her finger and that it looks like he/she is blowing bubbles!  I never knew how much emotions an ultrasound pic could stir up!  : )

  • What are your goals for the weekend?  Mine are to start taking more pictures and start cleaning out the closet in the future babies room.  It is a disaster and I can’t wait for it to be empty!!!
