Stuffed from Dinner and Tuesday’s Recap

Good evening guys!  How was your day?  We’re almost half way done with the week and Friday will be here before we know it, yay!

My day was really good. 

I trained a few clients this morning and then came home to relieve Keith of babysitting duty and have been here ever since!  It is so hot out that I don’t like bringing the baby out if I don’t need too.  We’ll probably venture out tomorrow morning before the afternoon heat sinks in.  Smile

WORKOUT

Since the baby was napping when I got home, I decided not to sit around and immediately got into my workout clothes.  I got in 45 minutes of cardio (broken up into 28 minutes and 17 minutes- the babes had a major explosion) and then did a few ab moves when I was done!

It felt so good to get that in today as  I mentioned yesterday if there was one day I wasn’t sure I’d get my workout in, it was today!

So here is what my workout calendar looks like now with workout number 2 accomplished:

  • Monday- 45 minutes cardio + core (at home)
  • Tuesday- 45 minutes cardio + core (at home)
  • Wednesday- Plyometric workout (at home)
  • Thursday- Intervals + legs, pecs and triceps (gym)
  • Friday- 45 minutes cardio (at home)
  • Saturday- Intervals + back, biceps and shoulders

I love my plyometric workout that I do so I’m really looking forward to tomorrow morning’s workout.  It is fun and the times goes by so quickly!  I also blast Techno Radio on Pandora and that really gets me focused and in the groove to pump out all those jumping squats and lunges! 

Workout #2!  I like working out in just shorts and a sports bar to keep cool in this summer heat!  I threw on a tank so you all didn’t have to see my sweaty bra!  I also purposefully hid my face behind the camera today!  I looked like a sweaty mess!

EATS

Today I’ve eaten pretty healthy.  I did have a few potato chips, but I was just happy I got my workout in so I didn’t really care.  I had the chips over the weekend and felt really bloated afterwards, so I didn’t want to eat any during the week, especially since I knew dinner would be HUGE!  So huge in fact, I can barely move right now- kidding, sort of.  We made turkey burgers again and have perfected our recipe.  I’ll be posting the recipe either on Thursday or Friday.  So, if you’re looking for a healthy meal to grill this weekend, you really should give them a try!

  • Breakfast- Coffee, Ezekiel English muffin with egg, cheese, spinach and salsa
  • AM Snack- Clif Mojo bar
  • Lunch- Banana, grapefruit and pineapple smoothie (1 frozen banana, 1 whole grapefruit-peeled, 3/4 cup pineapple, 1 cup almond milk, 1 cup ice and 1 scoop vanilla protein powder.  Blend until smooth!)
  • PM Snack- Potato chips, 2 scoops of raw almond butter
  • Dinner- Turkey Burger

Busy Morning & Rental House Foreclosure

Hey guys!

I hope you all enjoyed the five month birthday video I posted yesterday! 

This morning is going to be a busy one for me.  Tuesday’s are a gym training day for me and Keith plays stay at home Dad for a couple hours in the morning.  I try to jam pack as much as I can in before heading into work at 8am.  I can normally get a lot done since either Cameryn or Quincy wakes us up at the crack of dawn, usually between 4-5am.

So this morning before I head into work, I’m planning on getting the dog walked, doing computer/email work, creating new workouts for my clients and getting some things done around the house.  I really should try and get my cardio over with, but since the baby is awake and playing, that really isn’t an option.  To me there is nothing better than getting my workout done and ever with very first thing in the morning.  I’m really looking forward to getting back on that schedule.  It is hard right now since I’m still not sleeping a lot at night with the baby’s frequent feedings.

After work I need to get in my second workout of the week and do a little meal planning.  We made some amazing turkey burgers on Sunday night and are thinking of making them again today.  They just need a little tweaking as we forgot a few ingredients last time and then I’ll post the recipe for you guys!  They are great tasting and healthy, a win-win in my book!  Smile

Speaking of meal planning, what dinner recipes are you guys loving at the moment?  We always eat in phases and sometimes it’s hard to change up the meals we eat because of lack of ideas!  I’m looking for new light summer dinner recipes so please share in the comments section below and add links if you have them!

The rest of the day will be spent trying to get done my to do list from yesterday.  I really need to get some computer work done for work, but I always put is off.  I don’t know why because it only takes me 15 minutes, but then I put it off for so long it ends up taking me a lot longer because I have more to catch up on!

In other news, the house we’ve been renting for over 2 1/2 years is going into foreclosure today.  Sucks.  I love this house so much and don’t want to move.  This house holds so many memories.  We got married while living in this house, got Quincy (our first dog), I got pregnant in this house and this is Cameryn’s first home.  Not to mention I’ve celebrated three birthdays here!  We’d think about buying it, but the owner owes a lot on the house still so the bank will probably price the house high to make up for lost money.  We actually found out the owner wasn’t paying and that the house was going to foreclose the day I gave birth to Cameryn.  Keith went home to check on the dog and saw a notice on the door.  It was the last thing I wanted to hear after giving birth to the baby and spending 9 months, painting, reorganizing and fixing up the home to make it perfect for the baby.  But what can you do?

This same situation happened to us in our last rental as well (just two houses down from where we currently live).  We were able to rent the home from Fannie Mae for about 5 months until they listed it.  Since we had the baby, I’m not really keen on having people in our home without us here.  The thought of people walking around her room with dirty shoes on and looking at her closet and whatnot just doesn’t sit well with me.  So with that, we are looking for a new home.  I’m a big planner and don’t like not knowing if we’ll even be here in a month or if we’ll be here until next January.  We just don’t know and it drives me crazy!!!

I don’t want to show the whole outside of the home, but I’ll definitely miss this amazing entry way to decorate on Halloween!
