Yesterday I had an amazing workout. It was chest, back and plyos day and I am actually excited for it again next week.
A few days ago I wrote about how I was bored and needed a change with my routine so I decided to create a new one:
- Day 1- Cardio + Core
- Day 2- Intervals + Chest, Back & Plyos
- Day 3- Cardio + Core
- Day 4- Intervals + Arms
- Day 5- Intervals + Legs
- Day 6- Long Family Run with Quincy (the dog)
Here is the workout I did yesterday! It took me about an hour and I burned
I am super sore in my outer pecs and shoulders today. I also took today as a rest day as things got a little busy here this morning, but I will be back in the gym getting in intervals and arms tomorrow!
My eats yesterday were all around healthy and I’m already starting to feel back like my old self again. I can’t remember exactly what I had but here is a rough idea:
- Breakfast- Hot lemon water, 1/2 pumpkin muffin (homemade) + Cliff Builder Bar (pre workout), 1 whey protein shake (powder + water) post workout
- AM Snack- 1/2 pumpkin muffin
- Lunch- Egg sandwich on Ezekiel English muffin
- PM Snack- Scoop of almond butter
- Dinner- Asian salad
I forgot to pick up cabbage at the store so our Asian salad was romaine, toasted almonds, chicken breast and green and red bell peppers. It was amaze! Simple and healthy. I used Trader Joe’s soy ginger dressing to top it off.
Monday’s night salad, apple gorgonzola!
Our other big news that happened yesterday was that Cameryn got her toddler bed put together! It is just the conversion set for the crib so I was able to put it together while Keith was at work.
Cameryn wasn’t too happy about her last visit into the crib…she always did hate the thing! But, mommy needed just one more picture for memories!
Mommy’s little helper. Once out of the crib she couldn’t wait to help out!
Cameryn immediately climbed into her toddler bed and loved it! She is very proud to have her very own big girl bed!
Now we just need to figure out how to get her to sleep in it…
Question: Are you a fan of plyos? Do you try and get them in somehow each week?
